We are looking for an Entry Level Financial Analyst to join a dynamic hospitality team in New York, NY. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your financial analysis skills while contributing to a fast-paced industry. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to analyze data, create reports, and identify trends that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Extract and compile financial data from multiple sources to support analysis and reporting.
• Analyze trends and patterns to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports using Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Assist in developing forecasts and budgets based on data-driven insights.
• Utilize data mining techniques to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Support ad hoc reporting needs and special projects as assigned.
• Leverage accounting software and systems to streamline financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with auditing procedures and accrual accounting standards.
• Provide recommendations for improving capital management and budget processes.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and financial tools.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining and trend analysis.
• Knowledge of accrual accounting and auditing principles.
• Ability to create and maintain detailed financial reports.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaborative work.
• Previous exposure to budget processes and capital management is preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems and Crystal Reports is a plus.
