About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of AML Oversight for Third-Party Affiliates and Partners to play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with AML, KYC, sanctions, and financial crime obligations. This leadership position involves designing and implementing an oversight program that caters to a complex ecosystem of affiliates and partners. The successful candidate will spearhead the development of the oversight framework, establish global and U.S. standards, and manage onboarding, monitoring, and escalation processes.

This role is global in scope, requiring collaboration with affiliates and partners across various jurisdictions. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in the payments industry, possessing at least 8-10 years of experience in AML, BSA/Financial Crimes, or Compliance within the payments sector. A proven track record in designing and executing oversight frameworks for third-party relationships is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement the AML oversight framework for the U.S. entity.
  • Oversee due diligence processes for affiliates and partners.
  • Establish effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
  • Develop and implement escalation protocols for AML issues.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent oversight.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship management and communication skills, be proficient in influencing both internal and external stakeholders, and be comfortable operating as an individual contributor while having the capacity for broader leadership as the business expands.
