Job Description

About the role The Technology Consultant acts as a trusted advisor, understanding the unique needs of each client, and recommending technology solutions that align with their goals and requirements. These systems can range from conference rooms to large-scale event spaces, complex manufacturing. Responsible for establishing new opportunities and fostering current relationships. What you'll do Maintain a minimum book of business of $2.5M annually. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their requirements, objectives, and budget constraints. Perform needs assessments, analyzing existing infrastructure, and identifying areas for improvement. Provide expert recommendations and insights on the best technology solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. Create comprehensive proposals, including cost estimates, equipment lists, and timelines for the implementation phase. Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to coordinate resources and ensure smooth project implementation. Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project and find effective solutions. Stay current on new technologies and evolving industry practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a Technology Consultant or in a related role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, team members, and vendors. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions. Willingness to travel to client sites as required. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years related experience in a technology sales role Energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude Strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills Certifications in CTS, CTSD, CTS-I, RCDD, BICSI Tech or Industrial Controls Winning Behaviors and Competencies Real-time Communication is key to success: We will communicate real-time to our team members and clients.
