Job Description

As a Security Professional - School Security Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote an inviting atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence helps maintain a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the education environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or address concerns as they arise.
• Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors as part of daily responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite contacts to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
