This is the day that you can use to make a difference, roll the dice and be a volunteer to the blind. The odds are good I can make a match that will result in an amazing friendship for you and a person who needs a little suport to get to the grocery store or out for coffee. It's easy! If you don't want to drive, you can go with them on the bus or paratransit!

Requirements to be a great volunteer include:

• a desire to help others;

• a pleasant demeanor;

• a good reading/speaking voice;

• average reading skills;

• organizational or planning abilities;

• a good driving record;

• a clear criminal history;

• two references

• access to a car with proof of insurance;

• a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.
