Serves as a non-uniformed Physical Security Specialist providing services on behalf of the Chalmers P Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic, including assisting in managing the Security Program for the Medical Center/Health Care System to ensure that individuals requiring access have been vetted. Duties Responsibilities include conducting security surveys, inspections, assessments, and supporting the development and implementation of physical security plans and procedures. Requirements Qualifications To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 05/27/2025. Time-In-Grade Requirement : Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade within the past 52 weeks and submit an SF-50 demonstrating this eligibility. This requirement also applies to reinstatement and VEOA applicants. Applicants may qualify based on experience and/or education: GS-07: One year of specialized experience at GS-06 or higher, or one full year of graduate level education, or superior academic achievement. GS-09: One year of specialized experience at GS-07 or higher, or a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, or two years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or a related J.D. or LL.B. Competencies : Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer, and service programs. Clearly indicate the duties and hours worked. Physical Requirements : Full use of extremities, normal hearing and vision, prolonged standing, walking, crouching, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, stooping, and climbing stairs/ladders indoors and outdoors.
