Position: Office Manager (Construction)
Location: Redmond, WA – On-site only
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (flexible)
Compensation: $85,000–$120,000 DOE + medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), and two weeks PTO
Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire
About the Role:
A well-established commercial construction company in Redmond, Washington, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of accounting, HR, and office operations. This is a fully on-site position that requires someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into complex projects, and keep a busy operation running smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys solving problems, and has strong QuickBooks Desktop and Washington State compliance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage QuickBooks Desktop for job costing, progress billing, reconciliations, and contract management
Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, subcontractor coding, and 1099/W-9 processing
Handle Washington State and city business tax filings, B&O taxes, and L&I reporting
Manage employee onboarding, I-9 and W-4 processing, benefits administration, and safety documentation
Support day-to-day office operations and coordinate with field staff and ownership
Requirements:
Three to five years of office management experience in construction (commercial, subcontractor, or general contractor)
Advanced QuickBooks Desktop proficiency
Strong understanding of Washington tax and compliance requirements
Hands-on, proactive, and eager to tackle challenges head-on
Local to the Redmond area and available for full-time on-site work
