Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, is seeking skilled HVAC Servicemen to join their growing business. The role involves commissioning, servicing, and maintaining advanced commercial HVAC equipment. Responsibilities include consulting customers on comfort and building inefficiency issues, performing maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems, recommending solutions for system efficiency, and providing labor and material quotes. Servicemen may assist Journeymen with repair and service of various chillers and participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis. The company provides factory certification, safety equipment, uniforms, tools, technical equipment, and a vehicle. Required qualifications include two years of practical experience in residential, light commercial, or commercial mechanical equipment, a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of three-phase commercial HVAC equipment, a valid driver's license, EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification, and good communication skills. Candidates must be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters. Preferred qualifications include five years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience and knowledge of pumps, VFDs, air handling units, and rooftop units.
