Job Title: Forklift Operator / Material Handler / Warehouse Person
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable Forklift Operator / Material Handler / Warehouse Person to support day-to-day waste material handling operations. This role is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, organize, and transfer hazardous and non-hazardous materials within our facility and between locations.
Operate forklifts to offload, palletize, and reload material (75%)
Coordinate material movement between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations (5%)
Ensure compliance with storage permits and transportation requirements (5%)
Dispatch transportation from hubs (5%)
Track manifest return timelines and ensure timely documentation (5%)
Maintain and update databases including Outlook and Hub Management systems (5%)
Perform general warehouse support and other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 0–3 years in warehouse, logistics, or forklift operation
Certification: Valid forklift certification
Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in Windows-based software
Strong organization and multitasking skills
Clear communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Travel Requirements:Less than 10%

Physical Requirements:This position involves frequent physical activity and manual handling in an industrial warehouse environment.

Bending, climbing, reaching: Frequently
Lift/carry up to:
25 lbs: Frequently
50 lbs: Rarely
100 lbs: Occasionally
Move drums up to 800 lbs with drum dolly
Move flex bins up to 1,500 lbs using a pallet jack
Ability to climb on/off forklifts and vertical ladders
Perform 10 pushups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups as part of physical assessment
Strong hand-eye coordination and depth perception
Driving Requirements:Forklift and automatic transmission vehicles: Constantly
Car (for job-related travel): Occasionally
Vision and Hearing Requirements:(Assistive devices permitted)
Near/far vision, peripheral vision, color recognition: Required
Ability to hear alarms, communicate via phone, and tolerate loud environments: Required
Work Environment:This role operates in a hazardous waste facility with exposure to chemicals, equipment, and loud noise. Strict safety protocols and use of PPE are required at all times.
