Job Description

• Off shift position starting at 18 an hour.

operating a forklift or tugger (PIV) used for transporting material

• stacking and unstacking dunnage and four posts
• moving material around the plant
• load & unload materials to the production locations, market or inbound deliveries
• tracking inventory of incoming/outgoing items
• label and sort incoming/outbound shipments
• loading outbound trucks
• performing safety checks on PIV before use
• operating in tight spaces with pedestrian traffic

Required Skills and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in driving a forktruck/tugger is required

- Safety focused - high volume of material is moved every hour with pedestrian traffic and close proximity to machines

• Will need to pass our certification test to be on a PIV, or will be moved to a production operator position
• Able to work any shift
• Successfully complete a criminal and education background review
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening
• Ability to work on any shift does not mean a swing shift. We are a Unionized facility that in order for an Associate to shift preference to a different shift, they have to meet requirements such as having a high enough Seniority.
• Be able to work weekends voluntarily or when required
• Be highly motivated and have an interest in manufacturing
• Be a team player, who is flexible and easily adapts to change
