Overview Colliers Project Leaders is currently looking for a Director to join our Owner's Project Management team in Boston, MA! In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading our owner’s project management efforts in the Eastern MA area by generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, overseeing and growing a team of professionals, and managing the delivery of services in the public and private sectors with a focus on primarily on K-12 Schools in addition to Higher Ed., Public safety, Libraries, and/or other related markets. Responsibilities Develop our presence in the educational, transit, public safety, and municipal building market via opportunities for new construction, remodels, and new fit-outs. Develop and align strategies with business priorities and developing standards and best practices for service delivery. Foster relationships with client organizations, especially those related to new business opportunities. Knowledge about all facets of project management including planning, design, construction, and closeout. Think strategically and provide high level service delivery to clients. Manage and provide direction and leadership to the team to ensure the overall highest-level delivery, quality control, and management of projects. Problem-solve, plan, organize, and make decisions. Handle any escalated issues immediately and effectively and lead major project team discussions, leading to appropriate actions and resolution. Qualifications Bachelors required, Advanced Degree preferred. 10+ years of Owner's Project Management experience, preferably with the majority in K-12. MCPPO Certification preferred. Experience in Business Development. Energetic; motivated to create and succeed. Project management experience required either as the Owner or as their Representative. Strong market knowledge with deep relationships. Demonstrated experience in problem solving skills, planning, and organizing, decision-making and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to partner across organizational lines. Experience with program strategy development and oversight. You are excited by developing and growing a business and are a motivational and effective presenter. Superior communication skills, influencing and leading, facilitation and teamwork capabilities. Superior presentation skills required for team meetings, staff training, as well as senior level presentations. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
