POSITION PURPOSE:

Position provides administrative and support activities for upper management, project managers and field staff requiring an advanced level of accountability, analysis, problem solving and interpersonal contacts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in contract administration: Obtaining contracts, bonds, insurance, lien waivers, closeout documents, and other various from subcontractors and vendors;
  • Bid solicitations and preparation of bid packages for job opportunities ensuring packages are complete and filed on time;
  • Quickbooks entry of vendor accounting and customer receivables;
  • Draft & submission of time & material billing and PCO’s as per daily logs;
  • Completion of new client pre-qualification packages, DAS certifications, DOT CON 16 renewals;
  • Independently performs special projects as necessary;
  • Assist management with administrative tasks related to special projects;

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Knowledge of business communications; considerable interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel to format and create professional documents.

Candidate must have strong organizational skills, pay attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize duties and complete within required deadlines.

Prior experience in complex clerical work in construction administrative functions preferred.

Associate degree in construction or business-related concentrations or equivalent experience.

Valid Driver’s License Required; Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
