Banquet Sales Consultant Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the catering or hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM software like Salesforce is a plus.
  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.

Banquet Sales Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and proactively seek new business opportunities to grow our client base.
  • Conduct client walkthroughs to showcase our venue and facilities.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that meet client needs and company standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Perform market analysis to stay informed on industry trends and competitive pricing.
