Associate Nursing Home Administrator

What will I do as an Associate Nursing Home Administrator with Genacross?

• Assist the Nursing Home Admin in daily operations, strategic planning and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise department heads and ensures effective coordination among nursing, dietary housekeeping maintenance and administrative teams.
• Monitor responsibilities and satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
• Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and resident outcomes.
• Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Facilitate staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as acting administrator in the absence of the Nursing Home Administrator.
• Foster a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion for residents and staff.

Associate Nursing Home Administrator Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field (master's preferred).
• Current State licensure or eligibility as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or healthcare management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing homes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in healthcare management software and systems.
